About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn toward the mystery of being alive—what lies beyond what we can see, how consciousness moves through us, and what becomes possible when we meet life with an open heart.

My journey began with a near-death experience in childhood, awakening a lifelong curiosity about the unseen and the unknown. Fascinated by the influence of the mind on our experience of reality, and by our connection with something greater than ourselves, I began exploring spiritual teachings and practices that offered new ways of understanding consciousness and our place in the world. These explorations led me to the Science of Mind, Transcendental Meditation, and Integral Yoga with Swami Satchidananda, with whom I lived for a time at his ashram in Santa Cruz, California.

Continuing my investigation into unseen worlds, I studied with Michael Harner, founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and learned from medicine men and women across the Americas, Polynesia, and Siberia. My explorations have also included plant medicines, breathwork, and other pathways into expanded awareness.

Fascinated by the ways energy moves through the body, I immersed myself in the healing arts, beginning with Esalen massage in Big Sur, California, followed by traditional Hawaiian Lomilomi massage with Aunty Margaret Machado, a renowned kahuna and Lomilomi master. Over time, my explorations expanded to include energy healing, emotional release work, and sound therapy.

The body has its own intelligence and an innate capacity to heal. I see my role as a facilitator. As I continue to cultivate my own relationship with the Infinite Energy that animates life and connects us all, I bring this awareness into my work with others. My intention is to create a space in which we can connect more deeply with this natural life force, inviting greater inner peace and well-being to unfold.

My life has taken many paths. For 17 years, my late husband, Gary Cody Johnson, and I produced concerts in California and Hawaii, bringing extraordinary musicians and artists to audiences in settings ranging from intimate concert halls to large outdoor venues. Our shared desire to create gatherings around meaningful experiences eventually led us to create Great Mystery, bringing together leading thinkers for retreats, conferences, and tours to ancient sites. Today, it continues as an evolving library of conversations exploring the deeper questions of what it means to be human.

Today, I live on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Mallorca, where my explorations continue in different ways. I am an avid reader, enjoy Pilates and walks in nature, and find nourishment in discovering places of beauty in the company of friends. Above all, I remain curious about the world around me and the mystery that connects us all.
